A Newark man was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs after Ontario County sheriff's deputies responded to a welfare check in Canandaigua.
Jacob Manno, 29, was taken into custody July 20 at Horizons on State Route 21, according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were called at about 4:15 p.m. for a report of a man passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle. Investigators determined Manno had operated the vehicle while his ability was impaired by drugs, the Sheriff's Office said.
Manno was expected to receive traffic tickets directing him to appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
