Charges against an Ithaca man who helped a woman during a dog attack outside Wegmans have been dismissed, according to 14850. Ira McKinley had faced four charges after the June incident.
Tompkins County District Attorney Matt Van Houten moved to dismiss the charges after reviewing the evidence and circumstances.
McKinley had been scheduled to return to Ithaca City Court on Friday. A separate Wegmans trespass notice remained unresolved in the source report.
