New York growers will gather in Seneca Falls Aug. 12 and 13 for the NY Ag Showcase, a two-day event focused on crop management, soil health and practical field demonstrations.
The event pairs the Summer Crop Summit on Aug. 12 with Soil Health Field Day on Aug. 13, bringing together grower-focused programming, speakers, demonstrations and continuing education opportunities.
The Summer Crop Summit will feature programming from the New York Corn & Soybean Growers Association, including keynote speaker Damian Mason, updates on high-oleic soybeans, TED-style sessions, field demonstrations and a grower social.
The Soil Health Field Day will feature Rick Clark, Farm Green and Dr. Harold van Es. Organizers said the day will include hands-on demonstrations, regenerative farming strategies, soil function insights and opportunities to earn CCA and DEC credits.
The showcase is being promoted by the Seneca County Soil and Water Conservation District as a field-focused event for producers looking to improve crop performance and soil health.
Registration is available through the NY Ag Showcase Eventbrite page. Organizers said those who register early and attend one day can get the second day at 50% off.
