A Waterloo man was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility after police said he violated an order of protection.
The Waterloo Police Department said Alex Drake, of Waterloo, was arrested June 29 following an investigation into the alleged violation.
Police charged Drake with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony.
Investigators said Drake violated a Class A order of protection by engaging in a course of conduct that caused the victim to fear physical injury.
Drake was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await centralized arraignment.
