Sticky notes filled workshop stations Monday as Auburn residents weighed the city’s future, according to The Citizen.
The city held its first public workshop for its Smart Growth Comprehensive Plan at Auburn Public Theater. Residents shared ideas on housing, jobs, transportation, downtown, historic character and quality of life.
The plan will update Auburn’s 2010 comprehensive plan and guide future decisions on development, funding and long-term priorities. More meetings, focus groups and a public survey are planned, with another workshop scheduled for October.
