State Route 245 in Naples will be reduced to one lane beginning Tuesday, June 30, as crews perform bridge maintenance near the intersection with State Route 21.
The New York State Department of Transportation said the lane reduction will be in place over the Naples Creek Overflow in Ontario County.
Traffic will alternate through the work zone and be controlled by temporary traffic signals.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of July, though DOT said construction activities are weather dependent and could change based on conditions.

DOT urged drivers to slow down in work zones. Speeding fines are doubled in work zones, and two or more work zone speeding convictions can result in a driver's license suspension.
