Two residences and a garage were destroyed Thursday morning in a three-alarm fire on Lakes End Lane in Ontario County.
Fire departments from across the area, including agencies from as far away as Geneva, responded to the blaze. Lakes End Lane was closed to traffic while crews worked at the scene.
Firefighters said one of the destroyed residences was a seasonal home, while the other was occupied year-round.
The American Red Cross is assisting the residents of the full-time home.
Crews also reported exposure concerns involving two additional nearby homes as firefighters worked to contain the fire and prevent further damage.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
