Emergency crews respond to late-night motorcycle crash in Cayuga County

Emergency crews from multiple agencies responded late Friday night to a motorcycle crash in Cayuga County after reports of a rider leaving the scene following the incident.

According to Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire, Aurelius Rescue, Cayuga Ambulance, Throop Ambulance and Auburn City Ambulance were dispatched to the area of Cayuga Road and Clark Street Road for a reported motorcycle motor vehicle accident.


Initial reports from the scene indicated the motorcycle operator had left before first responders arrived.

CSFW later reported that law enforcement, firefighters and EMS crews located the motorcyclist farther down the road at a local auto body shop, where responders were able to make contact with the patient.

No information about injuries or the cause of the crash was immediately available.
