A Macedon man already being held at the Wayne County Jail was charged after investigators said he repeatedly violated an order of protection by contacting the protected person from inside the facility.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested Evan Robson, 27, of Route 350 in Macedon following an investigation into alleged harassment. Authorities said Robson violated a fully served stay-away order of protection by calling the victim from the Wayne County Jail on five separate occasions.
Robson was charged with five counts of first-degree criminal contempt. The sheriff’s office said he was scheduled to appear in Wayne County CAP Court.
