A deadly crash involving a car and two motorcycles drew helicopters and emergency crews to Mentz on Sunday, according to The Citizen. State police said the collision happened around 4:15 p.m. at Centerport Road and Route 31, leaving one person dead and two others hurt.
Mercy Flight airlifted the motorcycle riders from the scene, while ambulance crews took a passenger from the car to the hospital. Responders from several Cayuga County departments assisted.
State police haven’t released more details yet, and officials expect the investigation to continue.
