Authorities in Yates County are asking for the public’s help locating a woman wanted in connection with an alleged unauthorized use of a vehicle.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office said Christina R. Smarsh, 55, is currently wanted on a charge related to using a vehicle without the consent of its owner.
Smarsh is described as a white female with light brown hair and brown eyes. Additional physical details were not available.
Officials said the charge stems from an incident involving the use of a vehicle while under temporary custody, without permission.
Anyone with information about Smarsh’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Yates County Sheriff’s Office or submit a tip by text. Authorities cautioned the public not to approach the individual.
