She lit up scoreboards across the Finger Lakes, and now she’s heading south — Mya Herman has committed to the University of Miami, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
The former Canandaigua standout built a dominant résumé. She earned three All-Greater Rochester honors, scored 1,000 career points, and led her team to a Section V title and state final appearance.
Herman then sharpened her game at Southeastern University. She led the team in scoring this season and hit nearly 45% from three. Now she joins a Miami program looking to rebound after missing the NCAA tournament for three straight years.
