Dryden basketball standout Giuliana Pascarella will continue her playing career at SUNY Canton, according to Tompkins Weekly. Pascarella plans to study nursing while joining a Roos program that has avoided losing seasons under coach Chris Klassen since its shortened 2020-21 year.
Pascarella earned IAC All-Star First Team honors during her junior and senior seasons at Dryden.
She was one of the Lions' top scoring options during her high school basketball career.
Pascarella also played baseball throughout high school and was the first girl to play Section IV baseball.
She took part this summer in an all-girls baseball tournament in Illinois as girls' participation in the sport continued to grow.
