A Penn Yan woman has been charged after police said she failed to comply with state requirements for updating information on the sex offender registry.
Penn Yan police reported the arrest of Nicole V. Nesbitt, 39, of Penn Yan, alleging she did not update her address and place of employment within the required 10-day period.
Authorities said Nesbitt was charged with failing to change address as a sex offender. She was issued a ticket and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
