A rider was seriously injured after losing control of an electric bicycle and crashing along Fall Street in Seneca Falls last week.
Police say the incident happened around 2:01 p.m. on April 14, when the operator struck a curb and was thrown from the bicycle.
The rider sustained serious injuries and was transported by LifeNet 7-12 helicopter to a nearby hospital for treatment.
North Seneca Ambulance responded to the scene, along with several bystanders who assisted emergency personnel before first responders arrived.
The Seneca Falls Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
