A Finger Lakes winery just cracked a top national list with a standout red that impressed judges across the country, according to WETM.
Heron Hill Winery earned a 96-point Platinum Medal for its 2023 Ingle Vineyard Blaufränkisch, landing a spot on Forbes’ Best Red Wines of 2025. The ranking came from a blind tasting run by the Beverage Testing Institute.
The recognition puts the region on the map among top wine producers. Winery leaders say the award reflects years of work and highlights the growing reputation of Finger Lakes wines nationwide.
