An early morning traffic stop in Bath led to a driving while intoxicated arrest over the weekend.
According to the Village of Bath Police Department, an officer observed a vehicle traveling north on Liberty Street around 1:44 a.m. on April 18 in violation of state vehicle and traffic law.
A traffic stop was conducted, and following an investigation, the driver was identified as Darryl M. Hill. Police said Hill was suspected of operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Hill was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and crossing hazardous markings, a violation.
He was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for centralized arraignment.
