A Bath woman is facing felony and misdemeanor charges following a traffic stop Tuesday night that led to a driving while intoxicated arrest.
Police say the incident occurred around 8:46 p.m. on April 14, when an officer with the Village of Bath Police Department observed a vehicle traveling west on West Steuben Street in violation of state vehicle and traffic law. A stop was conducted and an investigation followed.
The driver, identified as Kym J. Gadson, was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. Following the investigation, Gadson was taken into custody and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, a Class E felony, as well as driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and additional vehicle and traffic violations.
Authorities said Gadson was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for centralized arraignment.
