A Waterloo man is facing drunk driving charges after police say he fled the scene of a property damage crash earlier this week.
Waterloo police arrested 39-year-old Brian J. Boisvert at approximately 4:35 p.m. on April 6 following an investigation into a reported hit-and-run accident.
Officers determined Boisvert had been operating the vehicle while intoxicated and later recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.09%, exceeding the legal limit. He was charged with driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.08% or higher.
Boisvert was issued uniform traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date to answer the charges.
