A Steuben County man is behind bars without bail after authorities say a domestic violence investigation uncovered a series of serious felony offenses.
Zachary J. Folts, 42, of Wayland, was arrested April 3 following an investigation by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office into a reported domestic incident.
Investigators allege Folts unlawfully entered a residence, forcibly stole property from a victim, and caused damage inside the home while committing multiple family-related offenses.
Folts was charged with second-degree burglary, a class C felony; third-degree robbery, a class D felony; aggravated family offense, a class E felony; and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Authorities said he was arraigned in centralized arraignment court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail.
