A St. Patrick’s Day-themed community event brought crowds to Lakeshore Drive in Canandaigua on March 14.
The inaugural Shamrock Shuffle, hosted by Hotel Canandaigua Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Nolan’s Catering with several Lakeshore Drive businesses, ran from noon to 8 p.m.
The event began at Hotel Canandaigua with bagpipe music performed by Lex and Irish-themed entertainment from Prime Time Horns.
Dancers from the Goodwin Academy of Irish Dance also performed during the kickoff activities.
Nolan’s Catering served a traditional corned beef meal during the event.
After the opening festivities, participants traveled along Lakeshore Drive to visit several participating businesses.
Stops included Finger Lakes Public House, Twisted Rail Brewing Co CDGA, Other Half Brewing Co FLX, COHO Pizza & Wine, Murphy’s Irish Pub CDGA and Jose & Willy’s.
Businesses along the route offered themed food and drink specials during the event.
Organizers reported plans to hold the Shamrock Shuffle again in 2027.
