Chick-fil-A eyes Auburn location: Where would it go?

A popular fast-food chain may soon land in Auburn as plans move forward for a Grant Avenue property purchase, according to The Citizen.

The Auburn City Council is set to vote on selling a half-acre city-owned parcel at 277 Grant Ave. to Chick-fil-A for $20,000. The company plans to combine the lot with the neighboring former Auburn Cardiology Associates building at 281 Grant Ave.

Chick-fil-A hasn’t formally announced an Auburn restaurant yet. The chain is expanding across upstate New York and plans six new locations by 2029. Any Auburn project would still need approval from the city’s planning board.
