Pedestrian struck in downtown Auburn

A pedestrian landed in the hospital after a vehicle struck them at a busy downtown Auburn intersection Friday morning, according to The Citizen.


Police say the crash happened around 8:10 a.m. at Clark and Dill streets. Auburn Police Sgt. Scott Deyo said emergency crews took the pedestrian by ambulance to Upstate Medical University Hospital.

Authorities haven’t released the person’s age or the severity of their injuries. Police are still investigating the crash.
