Firefighters knocked down a fast-moving apartment fire in under 10 minutes Friday morning in Geneva, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Crews responded around 6:30 a.m. to a blaze at a 14-unit building at 211 Pulteney St. Firefighters contained the flames to the living room of one apartment, preventing major damage to the rest of the building.
About 38 firefighters responded, and roughly 10 residents evacuated while crews ventilated the building. One tenant went to Geneva General Hospital for evaluation after possible smoke inhalation. Officials are still investigating the cause.
