A local cannabis dispensary is marking its first year in business with a day-long community event in Canandaigua.
Sunwalker Farms will host a 21-and-older anniversary party March 28 from noon to 10 p.m. at its location on Eastern Boulevard.
The event will feature live music and food trucks, with performances scheduled from bands Public Water Supply, Dirt Turtles and The Mustard Tigers.
Food vendors will include Lucky Duck’s Mini Donuts and 546 Chicken and Waffles. KD’s Cookie Jar will provide custom cookies.
Sunwalker Farms operates as an adult-use cannabis microbusiness, allowing the company to cultivate, process and sell its own products at the same location.
Owner Curt Boshnack opened the dispensary in Canandaigua as a service-disabled veteran-owned business.
The celebration will take place at 101 Eastern Blvd. in Canandaigua.
