Several arrests across Geneva last week included drug possession, drunken driving and harassment charges, according to the Geneva Police Department.
Police reported seven arrests between March 1 and March 5 at locations across the city.
Officers arrested Ebony D. Crawley, 44, of Geneva, on March 1 after a traffic stop on William Street. Police said Crawley was driving with a suspended license and officers found a bag of cocaine during a search. Crawley was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Dion A. Crawley, 57, of Geneva, was also arrested March 1 on William Street. Officers said he had an active bench warrant from Geneva Criminal Court and officers found cocaine during a search. He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
George H. Gibson Jr., 41, of Geneva, was arrested March 1 on North Genesee Street after a traffic stop for an unsafe lane change. Police said officers determined he was intoxicated and discovered he had a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years. Officers also determined the vehicle did not have a required interlock device. He was charged with felony DWI, circumventing an interlock device and unsafe lane change.
Eliseo R. Leon, 34, of Geneva, was arrested March 1 at Byrne Dairy and charged with petit larceny after officers determined merchandise had been stolen from the store.
Pedro J. Morales-Gómez, 40, of Geneva, was arrested March 2 and charged with second-degree criminal contempt and criminal trespass. Police said he allegedly entered a home without permission and violated a stay-away order of protection issued by Geneva Criminal Court.
Rebecca K. Weber, 38, of Geneva, was arrested March 3 on Wadsworth Street and charged with aggravated harassment after officers said she sent threatening messages to another person.
Joseph D. Meciszewski, 21, of Trenton, Georgia, was arrested March 4 on Hamilton Street following a traffic stop for an unsafe lane change and failing to signal. Officers said he was intoxicated while driving and later recorded a blood alcohol content of .17%. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, illegal signal and moving from lane unsafely.
