The Geneva Police Department has officially sworn in its newest officer.
Officer Brandon Casterlin took the oath of office during a ceremony on Feb. 20, joining the department after starting earlier this month.
Casterlin began working with the Geneva Police Department on Feb. 9 as a lateral transfer from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, according to the department’s announcement.
Leaders said they’re proud to have him bring his experience, professionalism and dedication to the Geneva community.
The department publicly welcomed Casterlin and said they look forward to having him serve on the team.
