Every remaining animal at Beverly Animal Shelter has found a home as the longtime Seneca County rescue prepares to shut down, according to Finger Lakes Daily News.
The organization shared the update on social media and thanked supporters who helped adopt the animals during the shelter’s final weeks. Staff said the building may now sit quiet, but they’re relieved the animals now live in safe homes.
The Waterloo shelter announced last year it would close in spring 2026 after losing control of its leased property and facing costly upgrades required under new state shelter regulations.
