After a snowstorm wiped out Monday’s high school basketball slate, teams returned to the hardwood Tuesday night. The game of the night unfolded in Wayne County, where Wayne defeated Newark in a Finger Lakes East showdown. The Eagles took the first of two meetings behind a standout performance from Richard Miles, who scored 26 points and knocked down eight three-pointers. The junior has now hit 14 threes over his last two games. Elsewhere, Lyons and Gananda kept rolling, each extending their win streaks to eight with dominant league victories.
