The decision was approved during the association’s Executive Committee meeting in Saratoga Springs, with Harding Mazzotti Arena selected to host the state semifinals and finals from 2028 through 2030.

Glens Falls previously hosted the tournament from 1981 through 2016 before the championships moved to Binghamton in 2017. Following cancellations in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament returned to Glens Falls from 2022 through 2024. Binghamton regained hosting duties in 2025 and will remain the site through 2027.
