A traffic stop in the Town of Seneca Falls led to a drug-impaired driving arrest Monday night.
Seneca County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jamie Paone of Seneca Falls around 8:42 p.m. Jan. 12, according to Sheriff Tim Thompson.
Deputies say the stop began over vehicle equipment violations, including no or inadequate tail lamps and an obstructed driver’s view. After an investigation at the scene, deputies determined Paone was driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Paone was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, along with the vehicle and traffic violations.
Deputies released Paone on an appearance ticket. Paone is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court to answer the charges.
