Beloved Newark drive-in gets fresh name

A longtime Newark burger staple is entering a new chapter with a new owner and a barnyard twist, according to the Finger Lakes Times.

Former waitress Kirstie Bulman bought the iconic Bee Tee’s Drive-In on East Union Street and renamed it Lil’ Barn Grill and Cones. She started renovations in November, adding barn beams and farm-themed décor while keeping the roadside charm locals know.

Bulman plans to keep the classic menu largely intact, including the popular ground steaks, while adding new items like over-the-top milkshakes and possibly baked goods. Her father will serve as the main cook, with other family members helping out.
