A traffic stop early Feb. 26 on North Main Street in Canandaigua led to a drug possession arrest.
Timothy Phelps, 46, of Stanley, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Police said Phelps was found to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine during the stop.
He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.
