Deputies arrested a woman on an outstanding bench warrant after she was transferred to the Yates County Jail Wednesday morning.
Yates County Sheriff’s deputies took Shannon L. Reeves, 47, of Sultan, Washington, into custody around 11:30 a.m. after receiving her from the Penn Yan Police Department.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies arrested Reeves on an active bench warrant for failure to appear. The warrant was issued out of the Town of Italy Court.
Reeves was processed at the Yates County Jail and held pending the next session of Yates County CAP Court.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office investigated the arrest with assistance from the Penn Yan Police Department.
