Lottery players got another shot at a growing jackpot Monday night after no one hit it big, according to syracuse.com. The winning Powerball numbers came up 5, 28, 34, 37, and 55, with a Powerball of 17 and a 3X Power Play.
The estimated jackpot now sits at $193 million, with a cash option of about $87.9 million before taxes. Officials also drew Double Play numbers, which give some players a second chance at prizes up to $10 million.
Powerball drawings run three nights a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday—with tickets costing $2. The odds of winning the jackpot remain steep at about one in 292 million.
