Canandaigua man resisted arrest after altercation

Police arrested a man late Thursday night after a reported disturbance on Beeman Alley.

Christopher A. Rundt, 35, of Canandaigua, faces charges of harassment in the second degree and resisting arrest following the incident.

Officers responded to the area around 11:44 p.m. on Dec. 26. During the investigation, police determined Rundt engaged in a physical altercation with another person.

Police later located Rundt and attempted to take him into custody. Officers say Rundt resisted as they tried to arrest him.

Police arrested Rundt and later released him on an appearance ticket. He is due to appear in City of Canandaigua Court at a later date.
