Deputies arrested a Farmington man after an investigation into a violation of a court-issued protection order.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as Keaghan D. Picaro, 29, of Loomis Road.
Deputies took Picaro into custody Dec. 29 following an investigation that determined he violated a duly served stay-away order of protection. Investigators allege he knowingly and intentionally contacted the protected party by phone.
Authorities charged Picaro with criminal contempt in the second degree. Deputies transported him to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held pending CAP arraignment.
The sheriff’s office said a deputy led the investigation with assistance from another deputy.
