The woman accused of killing her sister and dumping the body in the Genesee River is mentally fit to face trial, according to 13-WHAM.
Jamie Busch allegedly strangled 62-year-old Penny Busch and left her in the river, where deputies found her body on Oct. 14, 2024. Jamie was arrested four days later and charged with murder and evidence tampering.
She passed a court-ordered psychological evaluation Monday. A judge has set her trial for Feb. 3, with a pre-trial hearing on Jan. 12.
