Keuka College is gaining national recognition for helping students succeed — especially those from lower-income families.
In the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings, Keuka College jumped to No. 128 among Best Regional Universities in the North, up from No. 139 last year. It also made a major leap on the list of Top Performers on Social Mobility, climbing to No. 76 from No. 109 in 2024.
The social mobility ranking recognizes schools that excel at enrolling and graduating Pell Grant recipients — students who typically come from families with significant financial need.
“Keuka College has long been committed to creating pathways for students of all backgrounds to achieve a transformative college education,” said Pete Bekisz, vice president for enrollment management. “These rankings affirm the importance of our goal to open doors for Pell Grant-eligible students.”
President Amy Storey emphasized the broader impact of the college’s mission. “When our students succeed, they lift their families and strengthen their communities,” she said. “The most important thing we do is expand our graduates’ economic mobility.”
Keuka College also earned a spot on Washington Monthly’s 2025 list of “Best Bang for the Buck Colleges in the Northeast” and was named among its top Master’s Universities. Both publications evaluate schools based on affordability, graduation rates, career outcomes, and community impact.
