Schuyler County voters have picked Jeremy Hourihan to serve as their next district attorney.
Hourihan, the county’s current chief assistant DA, won the seat in the November 4 general election and will take over on January 1. He’s held his current role since 2020.
“I’m humbled by the trust the people of Schuyler County have placed in me, and I am honored to serve them as District Attorney,” Hourihan said in a statement.
He will succeed longtime DA Joseph Fazzary, who is retiring at the end of the year after serving since 1998.
