Seneca Falls man faces felony charges after three burglary investigations

A Seneca Falls man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after police linked him to three separate property crimes over the past two years.

Officers arrested 43-year-old Timothy Tandle on October 30 after investigations tied him to a burglary, theft from a vehicle, and damage to a commercial property.

In one case, police say Tandle entered a vacant home, caused damage, and stole property. One of the stolen items was recovered and returned to the owner.

In a second incident, police investigated damage to a vehicle at a commercial site and later identified Tandle as a suspect. He’s now facing a felony charge in that case.

A third investigation began after police received a report of theft from a motor vehicle. Officers later saw Tandle in possession of an item believed to be stolen. That item was also recovered.

Tandle is charged with felony burglary in the second degree and felony criminal mischief in the third degree. He also faces misdemeanor charges of petit larceny, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, auto stripping in the third degree, and two counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.

He was taken to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court on all charges.
