An Auburn man was sentenced Thursday for injuring a police officer during a 2024 foot chase at The Cayuga Inn, according to The Citizen.
Officer Anthony Mastropietro broke his leg while pursuing the suspect, who fled the scene. The incident led to a large police response and a months-long recovery for the officer.
