Drivers in Auburn can expect smoother turns and safer crosswalks at the newly reopened intersection of North Street and Standart Avenue.
City officials announced the completion of the project Tuesday, highlighting wider lanes for better turn radius and new pedestrian improvements. The work aimed to improve traffic flow and safety at one of the city’s key intersections.
The project was funded through New York State Touring Route Funding, which supports infrastructure upgrades on state-designated roads that pass through local communities.
