Deputies: Bath man violated court order over 150 times

A Steuben County man is facing felony charges after deputies say he repeatedly violated a court order over a four-week span.

Investigators arrested 40-year-old Adam E. Webster of Bath on October 9. He’s accused of contacting someone who has an active order of protection against him more than 150 times between August 19 and September 15.

Webster was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, which is a class E felony. Deputies say he was arraigned and released through Centralized Arraignment Court.

The Sheriff’s Office thanked the county’s Department of Social Services and the District Attorney’s Office for helping with the investigation.
