An electrical fire at a Seneca Falls home Wednesday night drew a multi-agency response and left crews working for over an hour to knock down flames and clear smoke.
Firefighters were dispatched just before 10:50 p.m. to a report of an outlet fire inside a two-story residence, according to the Seneca Falls Fire Department.
First firefighters on scene and reported smoke showing from the home, with a hydrant conveniently located across the street.
Crews from Seneca Falls responded, along with mutual aid from the Waterloo, Fayette, and Geneva fire departments. North Seneca Ambulance and the Seneca Falls Police Department were also on scene.

Crews spent about an hour ensuring all hot spots were extinguished and that no hidden fire remained. Additional resources included Seneca County Fire Investigation, Code Enforcement, and NYSEG.
Units cleared the scene shortly after 11 p.m.
