Police arrested a man Thursday afternoon in connection with a sexual assault near the Geneva lakefront.
According to the Geneva Police Department, Juston L. Crisp, 32, of Shortsville, was taken into custody around 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 9. He is charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony.
Investigators say the arrest stems from an incident that occurred Sunday morning near the pier, where Crisp allegedly engaged in sexual contact by forcible compulsion.
Crisp was processed at the Geneva Police Department and transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment. He was released without bail and is scheduled to appear in Geneva City Court at a later date.
