Livingston County is giving buyers a chance to scoop up residential homes and vacant lots at its annual tax foreclosure auction next month.
The in-person event is scheduled for Thursday, November 6 at 6 p.m. at the Livingston County Highway Facility, 4389 Gypsy Lane in Mount Morris.
A total of 34 properties across the county will be up for grabs. The auction is part of the County’s effort to recover unpaid property taxes and return foreclosed parcels to productive use.
Interested bidders must register at the door and provide valid photo ID. Deposits must be paid in cash or certified check—personal checks will not be accepted.
The auction will be run by Thomas P. Wamp of Pirrung Auctioneers Inc., licensed real estate brokers.
