A woman is facing multiple charges after police say she attacked two people with household items during a domestic dispute in Waterloo.
Officers arrested 20-year-old Miranda J. Dwello late on Sept. 24. The charges include second- and third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Investigators say the incident happened three days earlier, on Sept. 21. During the altercation, Dwello allegedly used a curling iron and metal cart to strike one victim in the head, neck, and leg. A second person was hit in the face. Both suffered injuries.
Police say a child was present during the entire incident. Dwello also caused more than $250 in property damage, according to the report.
She was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. Authorities have requested an order of protection for the victims.
