A man was taken to the hospital after a two-car crash near a school bus in the town of Sodus.
Deputies say 64-year-old Donald C. Quigley was driving west on Ridge Road around 6:45 a.m. when he struck the back of another vehicle that had slowed down to yield to an oncoming school bus.
Both vehicles were heading in the same direction near the intersection with North Geneva Road. According to investigators, Quigley was following too closely when he rear-ended the other car.
The other driver wasn’t hurt. Quigley was taken to Newark Wayne Community Hospital with chest pain.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Wallington Fire Department and Wayne County EMS.
