A warehouse at the old Seneca Army Depot is packed with 180,000 gallons of expired hand sanitizer — and no fire alarms, sprinklers, or electricity, according to News10NBC. County officials say the tenant, Eduard Zaydman, was just cited for a similar fire in Gorham.
Zaydman now faces 22 code violations for the Romulus site, which was inspected after an anonymous tip. Regulators say the flammable stockpile could trigger another disaster if not removed fast.
The building’s owner claims he had no idea what was inside.
